Bio: I am currently an aquarium photojournalist working with Biota Aquariums and CORAL magazine. As a hobbyist, my interests are Syngnathids, aquatic medicine, coldwater aquariums, coral, taxonomy, aquaculture, fish breeding, and nano reefs. I’ve been working in the aquarium industry since around 2001, but I consider my “big break” to be working for Kevin Kohen at Liveaquaria first as a customer care agent in 2006, and then as the Diver’s Den photographer and marine life identifier in 2008.
I have worked in aquarium retail, wholesale, aquarium maintenance, fish and coral propagation, livestock purchasing, and aquarium photography. I have worked for some recognizable companies like Marine Depot, LiveAquaria, Reefs.com, and House of Fins. I’ve also managed or worked in 8 different local aquarium shops over the years.
