We are excited to welcome you to the new MACNA conference. We have made many changes to push some of the boundaries of previous conferences. More stuff, more activity, more excitement, it will be a packed 3 day weekend. Specifically for 2024, we’re going to have an expanded show floor with a 2-day show that starts on Saturday. Mote Marine Lab will be doing some hands-on fragging on the show floor, a chance for every single attendee to get their hands wet, as well as a mermaid photo booth. The Kid’s Cove is coming back in a big way because the kiddos need to have a great time as well as their parents; they are the future of the organization.

by expert and thought instructors. Whether you’re a seasoned hobbyist, a professional in the field,
or just starting your journey into marine aquariums, Education Day offers something for everyone.
From in-depth discussions on conservation and sustainability to hands-on demonstrations of the
latest techniques and technologies, attendees will gain valuable insights and practical knowledge
from instructors who share their passion for marine life. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with

Mix and match your classes. Education Day is for 18 years and older. For those 12 to 17 years old,
check out Junior Aquatic Workshop, also on Friday!
We are also introducing a Junior Aquarist Workshop for those attendees who are between 12 to 17 years old. The Junior Aquarist Workshop runs concurrently with the Education Day lectures. The program schedule is being developed and will be one level.
All sessions will be led by knowledgeable and experienced instructors, experts, and professionals in the field. These instructors will provide practical, hands-on guidance and insights. Stay tuned for announcements introducing the instructors.
• Attendees will have the opportunity to fragment a protected Florida coral, at the Mote Marine Laboratory’s show fragging station. The attendees’ frag will be out-planted on the wild Florida coral reef.
• Need a snack? Stop by the Cappuccino/Popcorn Station and have a sit-down in the Attendees Lounge next door.
• We have not forgotten the youngsters! Kids cove is back again.
• For all ages, have your photo taken in the Mermaid Grotto with the amazing Key West Mermaid Festival Mermaids and King Neptune.

- ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL.
- A QR code, with all your ticket specifics, will be emailed to you when you complete your purchase. Bring that QR code when you register at the show for your conference package with your name tag and tickets for all of your chosen options.
- Kids 12 and under are admitted free, and must be accompanied by an adult.
- Tickets are fully transferable up to FOUR weeks prior to the event.
